It wasn't included when I bought mine from the store. I had to order it sererate. It may be included now though.

No it is usually a seperate item but should be changed also.

it came with when i bought mine...you need to change it. the bolt gets stretched while torquing.

I never borrowed it SS. Evo changed mine for me when they installed my TVS.

I noticed at BVM
Innovators West 07-09 GT500 10% Overdrive Balancer Harmonic dampner - includes new SC belt

Can anyone chime in if they have used this one. I have a Metco 2.6 pulley making close to 12 psi. Will this balancer then give me 15 psi on the stock SC?

dont have it..didnt want it, but it's known to increase boost by 4psi.

even though lighter than the 08...not by much i might add..couldnt see the cost for 4lbsof boost, when i can achieve far more via TVS and other stuff..if i wanted..but if your just changin it and keepin the stock SC, then its pretty good then..but others that run that combo can provide more intel than me..jmo

You really don't want to spin the stock blower that much . With the 2.6 you are already slightly out of the stock blower's efficency range. The IW lower would take it way beyond that and cause tremendous heat build up causing you to actually loose power.

So a IW 10% crank pulley and a 2.65 RR sc pulley will be too much boost? (~7lbs added boost)

On a stock S/C yes.

I think the main concern is it will produce too much heat.

A friend of mine was using this set up last summer with no issues & that was the set up that I wanted to do this year!!........But now I'm confused

me too. Oh and also, it looks much cooler too. Tons of bling factor

bling factor not a priority with me, which is why i went with the 08 balancer. performance is. plus i didnt have to knotch the eng to fit it, or worry bout belts getting ate up..plenty of boost..15+.

Once the balancer is install it is very hard to even see again w/ all the hoses in the way.
