Mike, Been to Fort Hood and Beeville several times for work. I do remember very hot and dry in TX as opposed to very hot and humid here. Hmmm.
Not being a metallurguist, I could not begin to figure that one out.
I would think bubbles in FL and none in TX.

I took a pic and just emailed it the dealer and they ordered them. When I picked my car up from the Tranny TSB repair, they (coil covers) had arrived, I asked if i could take them and get them chrome plated and do the swap in a few days and they said no problem.

The one the bubbles the most seems to be the driver's side so loosen you CAI off a bit and take a good look.

EP, SL is right the coil covers are aluminum covers on the engine one on the left and right. They are painted in a a high heat resistant grey paint and then clear coated with a high heat resisting clear-coat to give them a shiny appearance. What is happening is the heat from the engine, (which is significant from any GT500) is eclipsing the heat rating of the grey paint making it bubble under the clear-coat which severely degrades the appearance of the cover.

I have been told all covers from 07 -09 are affected.

I think you should see about getting your's done in black with the raised lettering red...........would look pretty slick with your painted strut brace.

Good idea Boston. I want to do something with these covers, but that is a good idea.
Maybe all black with certain parts in red. Knee deep with 68 Mustang right now, will need to get back to shelby mods soon.

Actually Toronto, Canada (The 4th Largest City in North America, only LA, NYC and Chicago are larger) has very hot summers, hot and humid just like FLA.

Hum.... all 07-09? Would not not create a TSB or because this is considered cosmetic, they really don't care? I guess I will run into this soon enough, here in the valley of 300+ sunny days, reaching 120+, but so far so good.
