didnt a certain somebody post this bragging all about it...i seriously doubt the 300 no matter what...i'd have to see some back to back data showing the gain to believe...period.

I realize this is not a scientific comparrison but I thought I'd post a picture of each one for you all to see.
In the upper pic you can see how the stock IC core has much tighter and closer passage ways for the air to flow than the VTS IC in the bottom pic. Although I haven't seen it tested on a flow bench I can see why they advertize a 15% air flow increase over stock. IMO the stock IC was not originally designed for high boost applications (anything over 10lbs of boost) although is does work, just not efficiently. It will be interesting to see how boost, power and cooling are affected by the new VTS IC. GT500 STOCK IC ![]() GT500 VTS IC

Guess i don't know how this is set up.
I take it you need to remove the intake manifold to remove the intercooler piece. Still thought the the S/C had a O ring gasket on it. No biggie, I don't plan on doing any of this. .
