Possible group buy on the BBK Twin 65mmTB

I'm trying to put together a group buy on the new BBK twin65mm throttle body. I will need at least 10 people to commit in order to get them to reduce the price.
If you are interested in this possible group buy please let me know here on this thread so I can gage how many will be willing to participate . The more that do obviously the better the price will be.

This TB has been dynoed on a TVS equipped car with the stock pulley on a MustangDyno and made an honest 16rwhp (approx 18rwhp on a dynojet )with no need to adjust or change the stock TB tune. Drive-ability is superb !

Can this be added to a stock blower w/ an aftermarket tune and then eventually used on a TVS set up?

Or would the tune need to be different?

Yes this will work on the stock blower then later on the TVS also without the need to alter the TVS tune. BBK provided a video to explain the install.

This sounds like it would be a much smoother response than the monoblade.

And if I ever get the chance to upgrade to the TVS it won't be wasted.

That's exactly why I want one . I've driven BlackShelby's car and the difference is amazing.

Relatively speaking though it is an inexpensive mod when you consider that you don't have to bring the car in for a Dyno tune session and it can be used on a stock GT500 or a highly modified one with the TVS SC.

I will say this though if you do already have the TVS blower upgrade your stock TB is already past it's efficency range and has become a source of restriction so a larger TB is a must. IMO

I was also looking at VMP 66mm thottle body too, but for the money especially if you get a discount the BBK is going to be tough to beat. I've been a little hestitant on the mono-blade because of peoples feedback on sensitivity. It's sensitive enough with 500+rwhp can't imagine what 700+rwhp would be like! Good luck with group buy, I'm still a few months out on a decision.

The BBK will flow more air . That means less inlet restriction, more power than the stock one . If you ever plan to upgrade to a smaller SC pulley or even larger supercharger (TVS ) you can continue to use the BBK on it as well where the stock TB will not be big enough to do the job without causing some restriction in air flow holding back the engine's full power potential.
Drive-ability is the same as the stock one.

There is actually no downside except paying for it. LOL
