$99.48 for 12 bottles = $8.29 a bottle.
Plus shipping. I'm paying $8.75 a quart from my dealer...so the price is in line if the local stores will carry it.

If it meets the -B spec (which it does) it'll work fine. Valvoline (Ashland) makes quality oils, imo, and has been doing it longer than anyone else ...I wouldn't hesitate to use it if the price is right.
Besides, you get their 300,000 mile Valvoline engine warranty!  ...actually I think that's only Valvoline-branded oils and an engine will fail long before it *wears-out* so you never can effectively collect on those warranties anyway -- even if you did hire Price Waterhouse to certify your oil-change records every year

Personally I think changing the oil and filter frequently enough is more important than the brand. Keeping the oil clean is tops. So long as it meets the basic spec. The rest is wasting money. Hell cars can run 200K miles on cheap oil with frequent changes... fact... we are not driving much different! Built better of better components, should last a life time. Just my opinion!
