Well a little update. I found that for whatever reason the mafia I had with my Tvs tune was not working. I did not change the settings from my previous tune which had it set on #2.

From having to R & R the Whipple numerous times something may have happened to it? Some I feel still think that I was too stupid to check and make sure it was set on the #2 setting. I had purchased a mafia from Sfadchi on T/S may 16th in preperation of switching my Tvs to the vert. I was lucky I did because after the run around of pulling the EGR off a bunch of times which most felt was a problem as well, I plugged in his mafia......yes I made sure it was set to #2.....that took care of the problem.

I should be receiving my Whipple cai today and want to see how it looks and fits. If I decide to go with the Whipple over the C & L I realize that I will need a tune since I won't need the mafia.

I want to thank all that gave me the info on the HPX sensor. Sounds like the cleanest way to go versus a mafia. The less parts involved the less chance of an unusual failure.

I still will give an update on the results of my Whipple vs modded Tvs when everything is sorted out 100%. So far that Tvs is going to be a hard one to beat all around when it comes to install, easy tunes to find, and street power. I have no doubt that the Whipple will make more Torque and HP than the Tvs but so far with no 100% correct tunes available to me yet the Tvs equipped engine revs faster and hits peak boost faster, but that may change one my tune situation improves.
