Will the JLT Fresh Air Kit work with a FRPP CAI
Thats the basic question, will the JLT fresh Air kit work with the FRPP CAI?
does anyone know for sure...if not what mods to make it work? thanks

They both have their own new Mass air tube but use the stock sensor. The JLT uses it's own carbon fiber tube after the meter to connect to the TB and the FRPP uses the stock tube to connect to the TB. They both have their own air filter and shroud ... If you mean can you use the JLT carbon fiber tube instead of the stock rubber tube I don't really know .Good question though perhaps Jay can shed some light on that.

The tube hardware as I understand it, is interchangeable with any tune per say. So you can use the JLT tube and a FRPP tune, and vice versa. Many have done both! The tubes come down to looks as most all provide the same amount of air intake as a standard set.
Hope that makes sense and we understood the question!

I'm sorry, I think I am confusing you all I mean this,
JLT FRESH AIR KIT (2007+ Shelby GT500) [JLTFAK-GT500] - $149.00 : JLT PERFORMANCE SHOP, Welcome to JLT performance not the JLT Cold Air Intake...I want to keep my FRPP CAI and shroud etc, just wanted to add the Fresh air kit with the bezels etc...

I think he is talking about the kit that hooks your airbox to vents like the brake cooling kit.

I believe that just ducts outside air to the area on front of or near the filter from below so I would think the answer is yes you can use it with the FRPP CAI but I'm not 100% certain.

yes, it routes air to the filter from the bezels. the tubes i believe end up under the filter between the abs and fender, hence needing to do some cuting to the frpp shroud. call and talk to jay in the morning.
