Well it's almost a completely finished product! I picked it up tonight as he's waiting form some more parts to come in next week. One of the new door speakers was defective from the factory and they are shipping new ones out but they won't be here til next week.
My first observations: 1. Road noise is now non-existant! It's very quite. You can still hear the engine if the stereo volume is not up really loud! But cruising down the freeway it's now very nice inside with only some wind noise. 2. This stereo kicks some serious butt. It's definately very clean sound without the over the top bass. I wanted some good tight bass that makes you enjoy listening to it. That's what I got. I'm sure it's going to sound even better once the replacement speakers come it. I really like the clean look in the trunk. I lost some trunk space but not enought to really worry about. Here's some pics.

He told me that he is also changing out some of the RCA's and wiring so it will all be the same color. I have to dust it off still as I didn't notice how much was on the woofers when I took the pics. The trunk enclosure is all in suede and so is the new headliner and rear deck. Pics just don't do it justice.
