For those who want to install a 6 pt roll bar this would be a great way to go. As long as I don't have a roll bar though I don't see the benefit in loosing the rear seat since it doesn't weigh much.Looks like it is done well though.

You would loose about 50-60 extra pounds. The frame of the back of the seat is the heaviest part. The seat bottom is very light.

You are correct Dave, that's why I don't believe it's worth loosing your rear seat just for the weight savings ...but for a roll bar install it makes sence.
