Adding the Audison Bit One sound processor. http://www.audison.com/

Adding another amp. Arc Audio KS 1000.1 Arc Audio

Upgrading the tweaters to the Hertz Audio Mille Series. ML 280S HERTZ by Elettromedia - Special Car Stereo

Then the back of my speaker baffle board is getting closed up and a true box made out of it. I wasn't happy with the bass response and control with the baffle board approach.

There are going to be some other stuff that is going to be a nice touch. It will all be RTA tuned again. The amps will be hidden in the spare tire area that will be able to be viewed. They are really good at this stuff.

Cool Re: WTH happened here?

Do you know all this stuff that well or is a shop designing it for you?

I would like to replace my crackly front door speakers, but don't have a clue what a quality replacement would be?

I know alittle. I've been into car audio for about 20 years. I just love music and want it to sound really good.

They are doing the work. I'm going off of alot of their suggestions as I trust them and know what they can do. Top notch guys and their work is outstanding.

As for your front speakers, depends on what you want and what you listen to. Are you going to keep the stock deck? If so there isn't alot to be gained by going with a high end speaker. There isn't enough adjustment or power to take advantage of the high end speakers with the stock set-up. You can get the sound a ton better with a good set of speakers as the stock ones are crap in our cars. They are just about as cheap as you can get.

If you want the shops info, it is Audio Innovations in Fresno. Audio Innovations - Inspiration Through Sound: Audio Innovations of Fresno . You could call them and ask for some direction on what your options are. If you do call, Ask for Ryan and tell him I sent you. Not to mention I'm sure they would give you a really good deal on speakers if you wanted some.

Went down there today and took some pics with a real camera. Not a real good camera, just a real one!

They had to pull the doors to run real speaker wire to the doors. They were not going to drill holes in the side of the car to do it so they used the stock harness and ran them through there.

Progress is slow right now because they just finiashed another project today. By Saturday they will be in full work mode on mine. Here's some better pics.

Well I got my car back from the stereo shop on Saturday. All I can say is WOW! What a freaking difference. I thought it sounded pretty good before. There is no comparison. It is by far the best stereo system I have ever had. Music is crystal clear even at very high volume. It sounds like you have a front row seat at a concert. Very clean install. Here's some pics. Of course they don't let you see how it sounds

Audison Bit One control center mounted in the console with the Pioneer Z110BT.

Relocated the buttons in the driver side panel.

Here's a couple of pics of the trunk. The floor of the trunk has this on it as the Amps, Bit One processor and extra battery were mounted in the spare tire area. There are two different lights right now back lighting the window. There wil be 4 when they come in and all the same color. Can't decide if I like the white or Red lights.

And this is what the subs look like. Hidden behind the rear seats.

Everything else is pretty much hidden.

Looks good Robert. I guess you couldn't do that kind of install and still keep the rear seat?

Could you make a list of all the componants you have for that system and what roll each one plays? (pun intended) LOL

I still have the rear seats. You can't even tell there is subs back there with the seats in the normal position.

If you really want to know everything that I have in there I could do a list.

Okay here ya go. I'll try and list everything.

1-Pioneer Z110 BT deck. Plays music, CD, MP3, DVD movies, Navigation, etc.

1-Audison Bit One sound processor - It's not only a digital equalizer but it also allows for sound staging. A really trick piece of equipment. You MUST have your system RTA tuned for it to work properly and sound as good as possible.

2-Hertz 1" Mille tweeters - Plays the higher frequencies.

2-Hertz 5 1/4 " Hi Energy speakers

2-Hertz 8" mid-bass speakers - These give you some bass in the doors and play the lower frequency also.

2-JL Audio 5x7's - Replaced the stock rear speakers. Not used right now. No need.

4-Arc Audio 8" sub woofers. - Bass baby! Nice and tight for some good ol' rock and roll!

A ton of sound deadening material. Well maybe not a ton but alot.

1-Arc Audio KS 900.6 amplifier - 6 channel amp that powers the door speakers. Putting out 550 watts.

1-Arc Audio KS 1000.1 amplifier - running the subs. Putting out 1000 watts.

1-Battery - 1 extra sealed battery located in the spare tire well for additional power.

Lots of little stuff. Speaker wire, Power wires, neon lights for the trunk enclosure etc.

Hope that's the run down you were looking for George. If it's not let me know.

Yes that's it , thanks . Amazing system you've got there Robert!

What do you mean "extra battery"?

I thought you had a thread of your system install somewhere here on SM?

Oh, here it is ! Sound System Build in progress.I changed the name of it , cleaned it up(about 3 pages worth)LOL , and made it a 'sticky' in the interior section.

Just a suggestion....maybe you can add this list to that thread and any new updated pics you might have?

I was really worried after the first couple posts. I did not want to be the one to tell you that you need serious help.
The stereo looks so cool! I love the diplay! So clean.

I have an extra 800 amp battery in the spare tire area also. It's running in line with the regular battery and charges off of the alt. I just talked to my guy last night and we are also putting in a custom alternator. Should charge at about 180 amps at idle and 240 at 3,000 rpm's.

Thanks for making the sticky topic. My first sticky here!!!!

As for moving stuff from here over to that post. Whatever is easier. I can move some of my stuff over there if you want.
