Roger Waters did a concert in three or four places this summer where he did the entire Dark Side of the Moon. I wanted to go but my wife wouldn't go with me and my daughter had to work early. It was at the Pepsi Center (in Denver) which is not a real great concert venue, but for this I would have conceded.

(My favorite concert venue is the MGM Grand Arena in Vegas. I've seen Neil Diamond, Stevie Nicks, The Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart there. Stones was my favorite show, my wife liked Stewart.)

Car tunes. This is what we had on during our trip to/from Vegas. On this trip I never even turned on the radio (spent all that money for HD radio and never used it).

The Shaker 500 can play data CDs with MP3s on them. It's easy to just copy the ripped folders from Windows Media Player. You can get alot of MP3s on a 650MB CD.

Here's what we had:

PF was good. I had Dark Side on our trip to Vegas.

Abba (really).

Blondie (Really).

Eagles (three or 4 CDs. Can't get enough of Hotel California.)

Don Henley's solo CD.

Johnny Cash.

Credence

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

Some others I forgot.

16 solid hours though.

One of my favorite writers is John Sandford (a pen name for John Camp, a Pulitzer Prize winning writer for the St. Paul Pioneer Press.) His most "Prey" series of books features a Minneapolis detective Lucas Davenport. All of the books have "Prey" in the title. They are an excellent read, with well developed characters and I've never guessed who dunnit.

In Broken Prey Lucas gets an iPod. His goal is to come up with a list of 100 songs to listen to on a road trip.

He's right about ZZ Top but I couldn't find my CD, so my trip started with Hotel California.

AC/DC network on sirius radio...allot of metal from the 60's through today...once and a while (My kids got me into it) I can enjoy some HIP HOP songs...my music is like me very very diversified..

saw the show last summer in Ford amphitheater in Tampa..(ROGER WATERS DSOM.)GREAT SHOW...saw that show and the WHO was a few months prior to that...great shows..
