What makes your Shaker thump?

The other day when I was on my way back from the lake, I decided to toss in some Blue Man Group. I have seen these guys several times and it amzaes me the music they come up with. Anyways, I turned up the volume to about 3/4 volume and response I got out of the rear subs was amazing. There are several songs out there that will make the rear subs roar.

What songs or groups have you come across to make your rear subs vibrate the hell out of your car?

I only have the 500 system (have the Nav), but plan on adding my own sub to the trunk down the road.


Although, last time I took the car out (Sunday) I had the AC/DC Sirius channel on the entire time and can't get enough of their new stuff.

The Shaker 1000 is my part of the car. I use it to it's fullest abilities. This is why I get my own driving time while leaving TG to deal with his post whore duties.

anyways..depending on my mood my music tastes change...I have one mix CD that rocks with Drowning Pool Bodies, now theres a driving song as you are passing people...it goes into temple of the dog , Hunger Strike , then Nickelback Rockstar, then a Rob Zombie block inc, Feel So Numb, Dragula, more human than human, never gonna stop

Now I will also pop in Linkin Park (any of there CD's) as they thump quite hard..

if I am into the hip hop (usually my kids in the car, but I too still like it none the less) I will pop in a couple of my mix CD's that my Resident DJ Chris Craze or one that was mixed BY DJ AM when he visited...they freaking really pop...

I think it's channel 29. It doesn't show as AC/DC on the display (think it says Punk or something) but it's all AC/DC, all the time!

The kids were off school today (some sort of teachers training day or something) so I took them out to lunch in the GT500.

My son, only 7, loves AC/DC and says "Channel 29 Dad!" as soon as I crancked the engine.


He's a chip off the ol' block for sure!
