The 180's are a much better handling tire , completly different than the 220's. Softer compound makes for better traction and smoother ride too.
I just bought a set to go with my new wheels. Had to get new TPMS and bands too .I'll post some pics, hopfully later this week after I get them mounted on the wheels and put on the car.
I let you know what my impressions are once I test them out on the road.

Correct I would agree with that assumption but for many who drive it occasionally these should be a great improvement in both ride quality and performance.

I'll let you know as time goes on with these.
Perhaps KR owners who have driven both the reg GT500 and the KR could chime in here on this as well.

I don't think a few short miles will really hurt the LS, but it will wear it out after a period of time. You may not notice it immediately, it may just shorten the life of the clutch pack.

An alternative would be to put the "short" tire on the front. Put the front tire with a closer tire diameter on the back. Then get to a tire shop as soon as possible.

Yeah , a different set of 18 X9 front , 18 x10's rear. You'll see maybe later this week. They are silver painted with a polished aluminum lip.

I found it....that was cobraracing that did it. This is the proper way to break in your new tires.

Well I got the new Eagle F1 supercar /180 tires mounted and balanced on my new wheels yesterday and put them on the car today.
I have to say it has given the car the totally new look that I was looking for. I'm very happy so far.

I plan to be taking the car tomorrow to have it 'corner balanced ' once again because I have changed the ride height again.
Too late to get pics tonight so I will get some tomorrow and will post them later in the day.
