A guy I know casually up here who is an author and has worked as a producer on HBO's The Wire, is writing for a new HBO series called Treme, set in NOLA. Believe it has already been filming down there and might air in 2010? Looking forward to that. It is about a group of musicians putting their lives back together post-Katrina? You may have heard or read about it.

He has a Bullitt Mustang and we talk cars when he is having an author event around here.

I've never been a fan of TV. The only series I watch is NCSI or CIS - NEW York. And I get these online.
