Nah, I have to stay home and be the responsible parent while TG is off driving around the area enjoying his car. Yes, I could've went but I'm not comfortable leaving my kid alone, even at 14, with a huge 400+ party going on next door.

I'm definately hanging with Chef next year.

As far as today goes, I walked to PETCO park here in San Diego with a couple of friends from work and caught the Padres - Dodgers game. Had a good time and ate some tastey ballpark food.

Tonight its fireworks in the harbor. Our hotel is the best spot in town to watch them from.

We may order take out later. Adult beverages have already been procured.

Yes, I have my camera.

However I am with about 20 other folks who also do what I do as this trip is work related. Nothing good can come from any pics taken tonight.

Pam and I went for a drive up through Estes Park to Rocky Mountain Park up the old Fall River Road (a one way dirt road that my truck can't navigate because of the switchbacks so we took her Jeep). We're on a "local pass" so we don't have to pay but we're just supposed to treat it like a highway and they are clamping down so we hauled a** across. Anyway we went to Winter Park and stopped at Randi's - which turned out to be an Irish place and we both got Reubens. MMmmmm MMMmmmmm Good!

I forgot to take a picture of the sammich. I did get some pictures of the trip. (Elsewhere)
