Burning oil smell
Have any of youz guys experienced a light scent of oil burning after spooling the supercharger on a hard pull?
It smells like oil leaking from a v/c on to a hot exhaust manifold, but I can't find leak 1 anywhere.

The smell of tires maybe, never oil... but hey I am not a hard pull kind of guy. Surprised you can smell it inside the car??? Or are you saying after you stop??

Actually I have and tried to tell myself I was imagining things. Is this just a supercharger thing or should we be worried?

haven't smelled anything like that. what SC are you runnin joe? I have heard of a few with KB's having low oil level in the pulley end...

This sounds like a tech thread so I would appreciate you guys not making those comments
 I too had the oil smell. Turns out the sending unit sending oil pressure info to the newly installed dash gauges wasn't tightened properly. It is hard to see but located just above the oil filter. Oil would leak out and burn on the tail pipe. I never noticed any oil on the garage floor because it would burn off as it hit the pipe. Finally the nut worked it self so loose that it leaked a lot of oil and there is where I found the problem.I had a thread about this about a month ago with some pics. I don't know how to link to it but others may. Good luck
