Help! Any F150 guys?? Issue with Climate control!!

Thanks Joe... and I hope so. This is the last after market product on the truck and thus far that is all that has given me issues. Ok, so it has dual exhaust but I doubt that will create issues. I hope I am good to go, as I really LOVE the truck.... and as always thanks to all for the opinions and help!

So I had to follow up as Karma is a bitch!!!

So I get the call from the dealer about the fuse being bad, and that the tech spent a few hours looking for a short, felt bad, spilled somewhat a told them no worries, put the fuse in and if it happens again we will deal with it.

So I head to the dealer to get the truck, still not knowing if they were going to charge for the fuse or tech time. Surprising, but they only charge me for the original oil change!! Then the cashier states I have like $80 in loyalty points and can apply that to the oil change cost, thus it is free!! So cool right?

So I give the tag to the valet to fetch the beast, and a truck pulls up and I am thinking, "thats not my truck"??? WHY, well because the front of the truck was damaged!!!! So I ask the kid, what the hell is that? HE freaks and calls the manager who reviews my drop off paper work and says "yup no damage noted on the paperwork, this is our problem". He then states it will be taken care of, bump, paint or replace! UGH... when does it end I am thinking.

But KARMA, she bit me in the ass this time I think... LOL The good news is the truck drives great and all issues cleared up... last after market is the dual exhaust, sure hope that stays attached LOL..

I would venture to guess the valet punk did it... just by the look on his face when I called him on it, plus how fast he got the manager over to me! I would HATE to think someone like a tech, who is higher paid to do a job, would have done something like that and just left it.... You would think that person would have a sense of responsibility! Also, who knows, maybe someone did back into it? However it looks like a pole as the line is straight up the whole front pretty much and not to many vehicles have that type of edge. Just a guess.

Oh yea, and it was Fuse 5, controls the PCM and Climate control sensor of some sort, just in case anyone runs into this, It is also one of the smallest fuses at 7.5 AMPS and I was shocked it has so much tied to it, emissions - PCM - Climate control? Oh well, never claimed to be an electrical Engineer LOL.

Got an appointment with the dealer today to access the damage and get an idea of when it will be going in... arg....

Those systems probably are just for sending signals (5 volts maybe & a 1/2 amp or so), so they don't pull many amps.

I figured as much as the blowers are all on 20-30AMP fuses.

Also, I seen the body shop guy, dropping the truck off Monday, he states he can have it back to be painted and done by 5PM the same day?

Um, maybe I have been away from this for a long time, but you can do paint repairs in a day now? WOW, or is this a chump job they are going to do?

Well I would have, but I got it back and it looks fine. They did a great job and had it back in a day! Bottom line, the manager there has been great to work with so I figured I would give them this gimmie in exchange for a future favor! You know us Italians - better to be owed than to owe.
