Welcome Red. One question, how big a difference did the gear install make? I have been pondering this mod but wanted a guinea pig to dive in first.

Advise I had given to me once- Don't fear the gear!
Wouldn't go back, but stock tires are useless. Thats why they put sticker compound tires on the KR.
First you have to do a CAI/Tune along with doing the gears to correct the speedometer. The car drives so much easier with the gears and the pull in any gear is stonger. I'm very happy so far with the mods I've done. But if you want specific's on any of it let me know.

Boston Mike, Thanks for trying to help me in my misguidedness but the Torch Red Brotherhood has it's benefits!
