I am replacing it with an 08 '500 White/Vista stripes, HID's Shaker1000, the car should ship next week from the East coast, it will take around 4 weeks to arrive & it will be unbearable......

Plan is to do FRPP suspension, TVS or KB & hope the tranny holds out! First we have to get the lights UK legal & pass an approval test.

I have a guy who reports to me at work who is an expat from Kent area. He grew up in London. He just went back today for a 2 week vacation. I've been to the UK myself about 3 times on business, and will likely go back in 2010. I really like the UK. I've been to Stamford, Peterborough, Canterbury, Kent, Newage, Darlington, Stockton on Tees, York, Stratford Upon Avon, Birmingham, and a few other areas.

Glad to have you hear. I would love to see photos of your tail lights before and after the conversion. I remember liking the UK tail lights better when I saw them on the Top Gear video a couple years ago.

Dave, I am only 30 miles from Peterborough & have to travel there for a work meeting today! I am not a fan of those "euro" rear lights & try to get my cars to look just as they do Stateside. Will write about the conversion & post pics.

Hi Jeff;

I just flew back from London yesterday for work, and lived in and around London for about 7 years (Putney and Guildford) before I moved back in Spring 08. I also shipped my Jeep to and from the UK so I have some experience on who is good and who is not so great if you need some help on names.

By the way if you do the TVS you will not be dissapointed.

The guy driving the delivery truck, said people were taking pictures of it sitting on the back whilst in traffic
