Welcome, friend of ours. As I am live in Portland, i'll be seeing you in some of the get togethers that Grabber plans this year. I hope i have some time to perform some mods before we meet up though... I'd hate to get roasted this early in my ownership of my new car by a GT. ;)
12.3's, that seems quick for a sub 500hp 4000lb car. Are you running the 1000ft track like the NHRA nitro cars are currently running?

We'll definitely have to call you next time. Our last trip past your place was on our way to McMinnville out past Newberg. We were getting a new Mercury Mariner from the dealer out there for one of our customers. 8 hour round trip and we had to have the Mariner back the same day for our customer to buy it that day, so we were hustlin'. The week before we had to go to Gresham and Beaverton, and we did make a quick dinner break in Vancouver just off I-5 at a quaint little pizza place called Smokey's. Interesting old place and very different pizza style.

We always look forward to seeing you, Tana, David, and Harley. Maybe we can talk our girls into going to the Meet and Greet (they're about David's age - 15 and 17).

Actually, our local tracks (Pacific Raceways & Bremerton Raceway) are still on the 1/4 mile system. My timeslips show 10.30's for the 1000' mark and 12.30's @ 111+ for the 1/4 mile. The 1/8 miles are in the 7.90's @ 90+.

My 07 GT Automatic makes 351 rwhp (roughly 440 flywheel hp), but only weighs a little less than 3,500 lbs - not 4,000 lbs like a GT500. That 500 lb difference helps a lot at the track.

I'm up in the NW a couple hours north of Rob, but have been to his place for his 1st and 2nd annual Mustang/Shelby Meet & Greets at his house.

I'm on my 6th Mustang now. It's a Vortech Supercharged 2007 Mustang GT. It's a real sleeper: alloy gray paint, rear wing delete, painted (not chromed) wheels, V6 Pony grill & badging, stock exhaust, etc. Most people assume it's a 210hp V6 when they line up against me, only to get whooped by 440hp pushing through a 4,800 rpm stall converter and 4.10 gears.

You can find me posting on a lot of other Mustang websites out there. I've been active on the forums since 1999 when I bought Mustang #4 (a 2000 Spring Feature GT coupe). Replaced that one with a 2003 Mach 1 (azure blue manual trans). Also owned an older Mach 1, some 5.0L's, etc. Oh yeah, had a few GM products once upon a time (i.e. 425hp '68 GTO and a 550hp '72 Nova sporting a tunnel rammed '66 Vette 427).

I'm a Mustang enthusiast first and foremost (note the Mustang tattoo in my profile picture). I work at a very large volume Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership as the Internet Manager and SVT/Shelby Director. I also order all of our new Mustangs and Shelbys, so I'm a ready resource for those of you who may have questions about how things work at a dealership or with special ordering cars.

I see some familiar people here already, and look forward to getting to know everyone else, too!
