Combo Key & Fob for Our Cars

Tired of having your remote fob hanging from your key? The 2007/2008 Fusion, or 2008 Edge, key/fob works in my 07 GT. I purchased an uncut key/fob from remotez4less.com (39.95 + shipping ~$3). I programmed the remote first just to make sure it worked & it did. Lowe's & Walmart would not cut the key, so I ended up going to a local locksmith who cut the key for $2. Of course, anyone who cuts a key that you didn't buy from them will not be responsible for it if they cut it incorrectly. Once the key was cut it took about 30 seconds to get it programmed to the car. You will need both of your key fobs when you program your new one & two keys that are already programmed to your car in order to program the new one.

That's an easy and cheap mod that will really help out (I hate having my key fob jangling around while I drive).

I really wish they would start making stuff like this known when you get your vehicle.
