I need a hat for the Cobra.

I lost two baseball caps in two days last week (It's been too cold this week).

I've seen some shortie race helmets - more like hard caps with bills like baseball caps - that they wore in the 50's and 60's. This is what I need - something with a eye shade and a chin strap. It's not for safety - honestly, I don't think it would help - but to keep the sun out of my eyes. Any pointers?

Put on a hoodie and a cap, put the hood up over your hat and tie under your chin. And sunglasses for extra sun protection. Not the most stylish look, but keeps the hat on, the heat in, and the sun out of your eyes.

The aerodynamics are built in, so it should provide the proper downforce and stay on your head.

Do like the kids do, turn it around with the bill in the back. Then use sunglasses to keep the sun out of your eyes. When you get out, just turn it back around unless you think it looks cool.

I have strong prescription glasses so regular sunglasses don't work. I have the transitions lenses but they're not all that great. A cap keeps sun from cmoing in the side etc.

I do like the car hat though...

My wife and I were discussing this tonight on the way to dinner. I'm thinking of the Snoopy hat and goggles, and the red scarf. Just like Cosby.

What about switching to contact lenses. Then you can wear good sunglasses. Thats what I did before I had Laser Eye Surgery.

If you can do a Laser procedure for your eyes, do it. Its one of the best decisions I ever made. I went from 20/400 to 20/10. Still better than 20/20 7 years later.

I can't wear contacts - I have a lazy eye and my doc won't put my working eye at risk. Won't do laser surgery either.

I don't know, this doesn't look like it has the correct aerodynamics. It looks more like any wind going above would suck me out of the car
