All funny but the best solutions are sometimes the simplest. On the Club Cobra site the best suggestion was "idiot mitten" clips. You know, the things with the snap clip that kids (and farmers) hook their mittens/gloves to the coat. One end on back of cap, other end on back of shirt. It'll still fly off but won't leave the car! Of course, they are much more expensive than this now and Croakies apparently makes a more expensive version just for this purpose (fishermen!!!)

Make yourself a lanyard, go to fabric store and buy 2 small clips (like the kind that are on suspenders, but smaller), clip on end to the back of your hat and the other to the rear collar of your shirt. I've used these for years on my boat.

Whew! Nope, sorry, that doesn't work. Snoopy scarf would work though. Cosby's scarf kept getting wimpier as time went on.
