The silver of which you speak was actually called Tungsten. I considered this color. It's a darker silver, not as light as the satin silver stripes on my car. It also had a purple cast to it in certain sunlight, which I did not like. When I Googled Tungsten, it mentioned that by nature it has purplish tones in it.

Wasn't there a silver that actually looked like silver on the S197s (prior to Vapor)?

It was called satin silver.

I think the satin silver is really close to the silver that they are using on the KR.

Yes, Satin Silver. However, that color was not an option on GT500s. I would have liked to see a Satin Silver car with red stripes...preferably a dark red.:mafia20smile:

They were saving that color for the KR. The KR is the only Shelby to dawn such an awesome color.

Your right. this car is missing something..I like my stripes too, but not digging vinyl type..might get mine painted
