Which type clamp would you use for an exhaust change?
Exhaust Clamps and Fasteners - Accuseal, Coupler, EasySeal, Liner, Muffler Straps, T-Bolt, Torctite, V-Band Exhaust Clamps .

V-band clamps would definitely be my recommendation. We use v-band clamps on aircraft for the high-temp, high-pressure ducting.

Problem w/ the V clamps is I need 6. At $27 bucks each thats a little steep?
My X pipe is in 2 pieces, that's 2 clamps. Then the X pipe is 3", needs to go to the factory 2.5" pipe? That means a reducer, that means 4 more clamps(2 on each). .

The Duraseal clamps that are OE are better than the Accuseals even though they look similar. The Duraseals seal better and provide greater clamp load. The Duraseals are made by Torca and both Duraseals and Accuseals are available through Classic Chambered Exhaust Inc. I am not sure but for the muffler clamp I think you want their part number DS250-better give them a call at 248-889-HEMI.

This is an old thread, I am actually looking to sell the JBA X pipe because I don't want my car any louder.
