Headers and/or High Flow Cats

TG, just tossing this idea out there for you...

One option might be to go to the hi-flow cats, but use an oval muffler (much quieter than the round ones) to keep the noise level down. I realize that may cost you more, but perhaps you could sell your old mufflers on Ebay. The other potential disadvantage may be that some oval mufflers may be more restrictive, thereby minimizing the gains from the high-flow cats...not sure. Perhaps even the stock mufflers if you still have them.

Just thought I'd give an idea no one had mentioned.

I like the sound of my Corsas.

Just thought the cats would give better breathing and run cooler, but I didn't think about the increased noise which I don't need around town.

If I won't burn up anything I'll keep it stock.

I don't plan any further HP increase.

Need to get it to the ground now.

Ps: yes, after 7 dark and stormys, about 10 glasses of wine and 3 good pours of port, I do have monkey breath working pretty good.
