PHRP's New H-Pipe

Ok, I am going to ask a dumb question. What is the advantage to going to an H-pipe? Is it just for the sound or do you get performance too (I am assuming for the performance side you would need a re-tune)? I'll admit, I have always wanted the car to be louder. For $225 that is a steal in my book! I paid $175 for an off road X-pipe last year at Mustang Week and then found out it didn't fit (I got mislead by the dealer).

Oh yeah, that's quite a collection of cars you got there Wes. How do you like your KR's? I saw one yesterday for the first time and it was pretty freakin sweet looking.

There will be a slight decrease in power with the 'H' pipe compared to the 'X' pipe. ( maybe 5wrhp) It makes no sence to me unless you are bent on getting the exact "KR" sound.

I guess it depends on what your after. I kinda favor the flow aspect of the "X". Heck...just last year I put an "X" pipe setup on my 68 Mustang.
Flows like crazy.
I might be a simple man, but I think all GT500s, no matter what exhaust
setup, sound bad A$$.

In a press statement released at an earlier date..... The owner of Powerhouse racing and Performance had promised to sell and give away a certain type H Pipe (KR) that many want. The price to non members will be $275 w/o clamps and $350 with clamps.

Wes I got mine in today. I can't wait to install it and loose my 5hp for that awesome muscle car sound. To each his own. Is why they make TONS of different exhaust set ups for different people. After hearing and driving a KR its a must have for my GT500. Wes and Powerhouse Racing & Performance has the best customer service I have ever had. Wes is a great guy and will help you in any way he can, Thanks again!








Also can you take a quick peek at the positing of my KR axle backs. After speaking with you on the phone I think the may be not correctly positioned.

Both the mufflers and the H-pipe are in the store. I don't know that we can do a discount as they are 2 totally different manufacturers...buying 1 thing through each margins are not too big on this stuff but I'll check with max and see what he has to say.

Everyone I'm very sorry that I've not been on I've been slammed at the shop with getting ready for the fast ford shootout in Bradenton. I'm SHOT!!!!!!!! 2 roll cages (wifes gt500 and my o6 gt) 2 tranny swaps (3 speed lentecs) 4 converters changes. nitrous on 1, Not to mention the gt500 started on fire 2 times, lol. Nothing major, Just alot of plastic and paint uner there. Oh yea wheels on the 500 with the new bogart 17" fronts (yes we do sell them).. amyways, just a bit of my life, not to mention all the BS with the H pipe Manufacturer. Ok now I will try and address some of the questions.

Yes the muffs are to far out from the car i beleive... did you get the instr? We will have pics soon. sorry for the lack of display. You might need to cut a small section out of the mid pipe to get it back a bit, but you should be able to loosen the mid clamops and push them back.. the top of the muffler should be even with the bottom lip of the muff cut out on the bottom of the bumper cover. And down about 1 inch from the bottom of the bumper cover. if you need any help at all just give a call...
