My light started flashing a few times then finally stayed on and was on every time I started the car. I had the car at the dealer on July 28th for an inspection and oil change so I told them about the light being on. They looked into it and found I think through the codes that it had to do with the side air bag. TBS 09-8-7 deals with replacing the wiring harness that goes through the C piller. This harness is on back order so I have to take the car back when they get the harness in.
I suggest taking it to the dealer and have them check the codes.
