While checking into battery relocation these batteries were brought to my attention. Much smaller than conventional batteries and only weigh about 14.5 lbs. Lots of info on the web on them but seems to be from around 2002. Not much new but DynaBatt was the official battery of the Pump Gas Drags last year. Given the low profile of these I think I could mount one of these under the car someplace as opposed to in the trunk. Anyone have any experience with them?

Wow that's small.
I don't like that the factory alternator will over charge it? I use dry cells in my jet ski's and they work awesome, even w/ all the abuse they see. .

I have the braille battery and it is light but doesn't have a ton of reserve. However it worked flawlessly over the summer and fall and I didn't have any problems at all until I didn't drive it for a few weeks - the electronics drained it so I charged it and it was fine. For winter I just pulled it out of the car and then put the trickle charge on it every month or so. Took 20 lbs off the front of my car with it.
