I installed it in mine under the rear seat and in the trunk.

It made quite a difference. One drawback is it is heavy.

Didn't Joker install Dynamat or something similar right before he shipped his car for LV for the SS mod. I think he applied it everywhere he could on the inside in prep for the new stereo & custom speakers that went behind the back seat.

it's pretty heavy stuff. I know people have lined the trunk, under the rear seat, floor boards etc. If you want to keep your weight down probably not a great mod. I think it takes about 3-4 roles to do everything and each roll is 20-40 pounds I want to say??? I have not used it but I understand it does work well to quiet road noise and the pebbles etc.

I think I would just try to quiet down some of the rear tire and diff noise.

...I used a product called Hushmat, very similar to the other stuff, but made by a local kc company.....used a little less than 50 square feet if I recall correctly

I removed all of the trunk mat and side liners, and then the rear seat, lower and upper....did not take off the side panels in the back......

be careful during the install, as the metallic upper layer is very sharp and will put a bunch of thin slices into your hands...ouch

most installs look a lot cleaner than mine; but remember, that this stuff does not act as a sound barrier, it is more of a vibration damper, so if you get 80% or so of the surface covered you are in good shape....this saves on trying to get the edges to match perfectly, and also saves a bit on weight......it all gets covered up anyway, so there is no technical reason for it to have a perfect appearance with matching edges......the stuff sticks and molds real well....

I feel it has made a great difference for the price and the weight (about 25#)

A new shelby owner drove mine the other day, and commented that he heard no noise at all from the rear fender wells (from road sand and small rocks) while he hears em all in his) the trick is just to put this stuff where ever you can reach, you will find out what I mean when you start doing the vehicle sides from the trunk access.......

you will never regret putting some of this in your car

That's what I used. I just used the one box. It covered under the rear seats, most of the trunk and the areas under the quarter windows.
