I can make black ones, but not by next week I don't think. I'd make them slightly differently though. With the red and blue, I was able to mix the aniline dye with clear epoxy so that the color is actually IN the epoxy. They don't have a black aniline dye, so I'd paint the groove black, then fill with clear epoxy...that's how I did the vapor silver ones. They look nearly as good...you can check them out at the show.

If I did get a rush order for about 4 black ones I could probably do them...but no guarantees...I'd have to work heavily on them this weekend in between Camaro frustrations.

If so, any special base wood you'd want? I have cherry, maple, ash, hickory, red oak...those would look best.

Oh and by the way, I have a special item I'll bring to the show...just finished my first ones. These take quite a bit of work, so they would be pricey if anyone is interested...but really neat. I only have 3 at the moment, and one is for me. I was going to give one to my dad for Christmas...but I'd have time to make a replacement if anyone is interested.

I'll give you a hint...if you take lots of photos you may want one.
