Oregon and Washington are Green states. Salt is outlawed here.

They use de-icer.

They don't want it in the streams and rivers. I think it must do some harm to the fishys.

You're correct.

It works good during a minor snow or ice event.

It did not do much good with the 12 inches we got 10 days ago.

If they plow with a blade first and then dump it on, it works OK.

When you buy a new car, you get a 45 day pass. It's a piece of paper you put in the rear window. His windows are tinted...so it is not showing up.

Like most things when it fits them they use salt.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting up with Spring Lil Cobra again for lunch.

His lovely wife Ramona and my wife Tana came along as well. We had a great afternoon. To bad it was raining & trying to snow at my house or I could of taken my car out.

We had a very nice Valentines day Lunch at the Olive Garden.

Olive garden serves good food. I had the short ribs. We had plenty of salad and bread with it. After lunch we went back to Richard and Ramona's place to see their home. Very nice place.

While there I checked out Richard's garage. Nice double car set up. I brought a set of strut tower caps with me and showed him how to cut them down and he put them on his car.

It's a nice clean look.

He showed me his cool Carroll Shelby signed Visor too.

Thanks for posting these phots Rob. And let me tell you that it was our (the wife and I) pleasure spending the day with you and your wife. I see a great friendship between our families developing. Tana is great...your a lucky man.
After you left, i gave the car a bath and dusted/swept the interior. She looks new again.
We both look forward to better weather and many a day spent with you and Tana.
